So true. And it’s not just Solitaire, it’s whatever game/distraction. Although, if you can find a game that fits with what you write (if it’s fiction), it can be inspirational. Writing post-apocalyptic adventure? Play Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Writing fantasy? Play Skyrim. (You can tell who my favourite developer is, haha.) But even if you don’t write within the lines of a game, it can help to get creative juices flowing in general.
